Temporary Foreign Worker Program

As a newly arrived temporary foreign worker, there are things you need to know to keep you safe & protected.

We recognize both the essential role that TFWs play in Canada’s workforce, as well as the additional challenges faced as a result of COVID-19. That is why, under our leadership, the temporary foreign worker support program was created for foreign workers in distress.

We can help you with:

  • Your short-term basic needs (e.g. housing, food)

  • Information on staying healthy.

  • Understanding your rights & responsibilities.

  • Interpretation & Translation.

  • Referrals.

We are here for you.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani as well as the Stoney Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Finally, we acknowledge all Nations, indigenous and non, who live, work and play and help us steward this land, honour and celebrate this territory.
